Walters Wins Best Bat Trophy in May Thursday, June 1st , 2062 Will Walters made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the RCL AAA this past month. The Baton Rouge Outlaws right fielder shined through the month of May and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 19-year-old hit .354 with 10 home runs, 24 RBIs and 27 runs scored. This season, Walters has posted a batting average of .319 with 60 hits in 188 at-bats, 13 home runs and 43 RBIs. He has also scored 39 runs, walked 18 times and compiled a .394 OBP. |
