Jim Tanner Injured, Out for Year Friday, May 5th , 2062 Jim Tanner of the Fort Worth Cats was injured in today's game against Albany and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a torn labrum, and he is expected to be out for up to 6 months. It happened while Tanner was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." So far this season, Tanner has a 4-1 record, 7 starts, 37.1 innings, 23 strikeouts and a 5.79 ERA. |
