Super Season, Launay Wins Most Valuable Player Award

The future looks extremely bright for Mark Launay. At the age of 19, many players are still trying to find their way in TRIPLE A.
Launay has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the RCL AAA Most Valuable Player Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .320 this year, that's for sure," the left fielder said.
The Baton Rouge Outlaws star also put up a .433 on-base percentage this year, with 185 hits, 35 doubles, 1 triple, 42 home runs, 115 RBIs and 146 runs scored.
He received 26 first place votes out of a possible 28. Danny Pellot of the Memphis Privateers finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Melvin Gonzalez of the Baton Rouge Outlaws finished third.
