Best Pitcher Honor Goes to Fought of Antioch

Blaine Fought had a marvelous 2061 season. The Antioch mound mainstay garnered the most votes and has been named the TAAA Cy Young Award honoree.

The Coal Miners star dominated his opposition, finishing with 21 wins, 4 losses and a 3.29 ERA. In 32 starts he worked a total of 235 innings, striking out 178, while walking 84. Other clubs managed to hit only .245 against him.

He received 28 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Gabriel Villegas of the Madison Muskies finished second in voting, while Pat Toope of the Pasadena Bumblebees finished third.
