TML AAA Announces Best Manager Tuesday, November 1st , 2061 Jordan Hay celebrated a successful season with the Antioch Coal Miners by hosting team officials and select media at a Antioch area first-class eatery. But when he first came to town, the 2061 TML AAA Manager of the Year was met with a good measure of skepticism. "Very few people believed in our ballclub when I got here. It just goes to show you that a bunch of talented ballplayers playing together can make any old manager a genius," a modest Hay joked, not fully recognizing his own stature in the baseball community. However, baseball journalists duly noted his managerial skill as he skippered the Coal Miners to a 111-51 record this year and a first place finish in the TML AAA Cito Gaston League. |
