Vancouver Devastated by Playoff Elimination Tuesday, October 4th , 2061 It's a "gut-wrenching feeling," Vancouver Pioneers shortstop Wonus Hagner said, for the team to have gotten so close to a playoff berth, only to be eliminated in the waning days of the season. The club was officially eliminated from the postseason chase today. Vancouver last appeared in the postseason in 2059. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 37 times in their 50-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Pioneers have made the playoffs 5 times. |
