Sauls Walks Away from the Game Friday, September 9th , 2061 Cecil Sauls said it was an easy decision to announce that this will be his last year of professional baseball. "I'm 40 years old," the Walnut Creek Warriors left fielder said. "Some of the guys in the clubhouse are young enough to be my son. It's time to go before I start getting white hairs." Taking a look at his lifetime stats, Sauls is hitting .287 with a total of 311 home runs. |
