Rowdy Players Suspended by League Thursday, September 8th , 2061 Dan Stowers of the Mexico City Luchadores and Simon Slama of the Kansas City Tornadoes will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 3 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Luchadores-Tornadoes game at The Royal Grounds. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Stowers and Slama will begin serving them soon. This year, Stowers has hit 22 home runs and posted a .279 batting average. Slama has gone 11-8 this season with an ERA of 3.60 and 98 strikeouts in 150 innings pitched. Other clubs are hitting .265 against him. |
