Jason Jensen Injured, Out for Year Tuesday, September 6th , 2061 Jason Jensen of the Jazz just might have to call it quits for the season. The 35-year-old Montreal starting pitcher received a possible season-ending injury against the Chicago Eclipse recently at Stade Claude Raymond. Jensen suffered shoulder inflammation while throwing a pitch. The Jazz medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 7 months. Jensen has made 18 starts this season, posting 5 wins and 3 losses. Opposing clubs are batting .223 against him and he has 71 strikeouts in 112.2 innings with a 3.36 ERA. |
