Seattle-Montreal Trade: Domenech for Chen Monday, September 5th , 2061 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Sasquatch announced today the acquisition of 21-year old minor league LHP Yoo-ngan Chen, a 2nd round draft pick, and a 4th round draft pick from the Montreal Jazz in exchange for 22-year old LHP Manny Domenech. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Sasquatch, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." This year, Domenech has recorded a 5-3 mark. In 10 starts he has fanned 79 batters in 69.1 innings with a 4.93 ERA. |
