Clow Is August's Best RCL Hurler Thursday, September 1st , 2061 Tom Clow of Manhattan had an award-winning August as he took home the Roberto Clemente League Pitcher of the Month award. "He told me once people used to make fun of the way he pitches," Clow's pitching coach told reporters. "There wasn't anybody laughing in August except for Tom." Clow was all business when he took the mound though, collecting a 4-0 record in 7 starts. He struck out 21 batters in 44 innings and kept opponents to a .168 batting average. To date this season, Clow has registered 26 starts, 13-4 won-lost mark, 2.55 ERA, 148 IP, 100 strikeouts and 42 walks. Opposing teams have hit .213 against him. |
