Mounties End Bye Streak Tuesday, August 30th , 2061 Josh Bye's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 20 games, as the Buffalo Bison dropped their contest with the Montreal Mounties, 2-1, at Mount Royal Grounds. Bye failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-5. After the game Bye spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. This year, Bye has hit at a .319 clip with 106 RBIs, 29 home runs and 80 runs scored. |
