Done Deal: Stirling for Garcia Monday, August 22nd , 2061 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Moonshiners announced today the acquisition of 25-year old minor league RHP Felix Garcia from the Milwaukee Millers in exchange for 27-year old C Kyle Stirling and 17-year old minor league RHP Daniel Calo. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Moonshiners, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Thus far this year, Stirling is hitting .260 with 5 home runs, 21 RBIs and 29 runs scored. |
