25-Game Streak Ends, Camacho Hitless
Wednesday, August 17th , 2061
Pennsylvania Butterflies third baseman Juan Camacho finally met his Waterloo.
A 25-game hitting spree is now history after Camacho was unable to make anything happen in 4 at-bats today against the Quebec Armada. Fortunately for Camacho and the Butterflies, the rest of his team had enough in their bats to win the game, 3-1.
"We're a true team here," he said. "For 25 games I've been able to contribute, but I always believed these guys would take care of things if I couldn't some day."
So far on the season, Camacho is hitting .312 with 20 home runs, 69 RBIs and 62 runs scored. He has 112 hits and played in 98 games.
