Bison Romero Suffers Injury Wednesday, August 10th , 2061 It took the Bighorn team doctor a while to realize it, but center fielder Jose Romero won't simply play through a hamstring strain after he got hurt running the bases in today's Millers-Bison game. At first, it looked like Romero might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 4 weeks. This season, Romero is swinging the bat at a .386 rate with 34 hits in 88 at-bats. To date he has hit no home runs, scored 16 runs and driven in 12. |
