Hit Streak Now at 20 for Rodriguez

Milwaukee lost to the Chicago Eclipse, 10-1, at The Mandalore Complex, but Mario Rodriguez kept his consecutive-game hitting streak alive with 1 hit. The Millers shortstop has now delivered hits in 20 straight games.
"Mario has a nice streak going, but the scoreboard tells the important story today," Milwaukee manager Kakuzo Kobayashi told reporters after the game. "We lost, no matter how many hits anyone had." Mario Rodriguez struck out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.
So far on the season, Rodriguez is hitting .288 with 11 home runs, 44 RBIs and 44 runs scored. He has 94 hits and played in 81 games.
