Buffalo's Torres Chosen June's Best in TML Friday, July 1st , 2061 The hottest hurler in the Thurman Munson League last month was Jorge Torres of the Buffalo Bison. He caught the attention of everybody in the league with some eye-catching stats, good enough to win the TML Pitcher of the Month. In June, Torres starred with an impressive 4-1 record. In 1 starts he gave up 25 base hits and struck out 22 in 34.2 innings with a 1.56 ERA. So far this season, Torres has compiled a 11-2 record with a 3.62 ERA. |
