Ward and Waldrup Fight, Suspended 4 Games Saturday, June 25th , 2061 Both benches got involved in a rowdy fracas during the Vancouver-Buffalo game at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium. The two main culprits have been suspended by the league. The Pioneers Savion Ward and the Bison Mike Waldrup were each issued 4-game suspensions for their unsportsmanlike behavior and aggressive actions. Ward is currently hitting at a .288 pace with 8 home runs, 35 RBIs and has scored 28 times. So far this season, Waldrup has picked up 22 saves in 29 relief appearances. He has also compiled a 0-2 won-lost mark with a 3.25 ERA and fanned 24 batters in 27.2 innings. |
