Week's #1 Player: Hawaii's Hutchinson Monday, June 20th , 2061 21-year-old Les Hutchinson sent shock waves through ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Hutchinson made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .650 average, 13 hits in 20 at-bats, 1 home run and 4 runs batted in. Where the Hawaii Honu third baseman goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Hutchinson certainly made his mark last week. In 63 games this year, Hutchinson has posted a .296 average and put up these numbers: 5 home runs, 35 RBIs and 36 runs scored. |
