Year Ends for Jon Spradling in Houghton Tuesday, May 31st , 2061 Jon Spradling will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Houghton reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Spradling was injured while throwing a pitch in the Gremlins-Moonshiners clash at Golden Goebels Park recently. Doctors said he has a damaged elbow ligament and would be out a minimum of 12 months. To date, Spradling has collected no saves in 10 relief appearances. He has rung up 11 strikeouts and no walks in 13.1 innings while registering a 2.70 ERA and a 0-0 won-lost record. |
