Pritchard Gone for Season in Bighorn Saturday, May 21st , 2061 The doctors have spoken and Jeff Pritchard of the Bighorn Bison didn't like what he heard. The 28-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Pritchard sustained his season-ending injury during the Bloomington Blazers game yesterday at Ram Brewery Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Bighorn medical staff reported Pritchard had shoulder inflammation and would be absent from the lineup for at least 7 months. Pritchard has nailed down no saves for the year. He has also totaled 11 strikeouts and 10 walks in 16 innings while registering a 6.75 ERA and a 0-2 won-lost record. |
