Littlejohn and Antoine Suspended for Free-for-All Wednesday, May 4th , 2061 Yesterday at Castlerock Field Quincy Littlejohn and Marcel Antoine got into each other's space and then into each other's face. They began to grapple and fell to the ground. That's when it boiled over into a full-fledged bench-clearing tussle between the Havana Stogies and Walnut Creek Warriors. Reason finally prevailed as the umpires restored order. After much discussion, only the two major combatants were ejected from the game. Today the league office notified the ballclubs that Littlejohn will have to sit out 3 while Antoine would be given a 6-game suspension for their roles in the brawl. In his season totals Littlejohn has 2 home runs and a .263 batting average. So far this season, Antoine has compiled a 3-0 record with a 2.30 ERA. |
