Asheville Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Saturday, October 2nd , 2060 The 2060 Asheville Moonshiners season won't end with a trip to the postseason. The club has fallen short on its bid to make the playoffs, being formally eliminated from qualifying today. "Disappointing," team owner Marty Griffin told reporters. Before this season, the Moonshiners had made the playoffs 5 times in a row. In the 49 years they have been a ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE franchise, they have missed the playoffs 21 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Moonshiners have missed the playoffs 0 times. Asheville has won the ABL Championship 3 times in their history. |
