Thursday, September 30th , 2060
Fans seated in the bleacher section at Aloha Stadium were taking cover all day long as Angelo Garcia zeroed in on them, rattling three long blasts off the seats in a display of Herculean power.
The big game from the Hawaii first baseman helped the Honu take the victory, 20-1, over the Bighorn Bison.
"I told myself not to press on the last one," he told reporters in the postgame press conference. "I knew I couldn't force it -- it has to be a nice easy swing."
For the game, he collected 4 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 6 and scored 4 runs.
Angelo Garcia doubled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Francisco Santiago in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Oscar Rivera in the 5th and hit a three-run home run off Zach Phillips in the 6th.
So far this season, Garcia is hitting .321 with 32 home runs.
