Bad Boy Brawlers Suspended 6 Games Sunday, September 5th , 2060 Today the league office handed out 6-game suspensions to Brian Carl of the Ramrods and Jose Manzanares of the Warriors for their roles in a benches-clearing skirmish at Castlerock Field yesterday. The league commissioner said in the statement to both organizations, "This league does not condone fighting and aggressive conduct on the field, thus we had to take action to discourage this behavior in the future." Carl is batting .206 this season in 79 games with 5 home runs, 19 RBIs and 33 runs scored. He has 45 hits in 218 at-bats. So far this season, Manzanares has compiled a 5-12 record with a 6.55 ERA. |
