Bakker 'Dealing with Personal Issues', Leaves Team Indefinitely Friday, August 20th , 2060 El Paso catcher Bogdan Bakker will miss an indefinite period of time to tend to "personal issues". Bakker refused to elaborate on what exactly the issues were, but added that they were "more important than baseball, that's for sure". Mavericks manager Lorenzo Castillo commented that they will "expect to be without Bakker for quite some time and that we'll have to plan long-term to be without him". |
