Dallas Loses Andrew Shackleton for Season Sunday, July 18th , 2060 The Dallas Texans were dealt a severe blow when Andrew Shackleton was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the Traverse City Beach Bums. After the game, the team trainer reported Shackleton might have to spend a lengthy time on the injured list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 27-year-old starting pitcher out for the rest of the season with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. They indicated it would take Shackleton at least 13 months to heal. This season, Shackleton has compiled a 2-2 mark with a 5.29 ERA in 10 starts. |
