Bighorn Halts Jones's Hitting Steak Wednesday, June 11th , 2064 The Bighorn Bison did something to Jared Jones no team had done for the last 23 games -- they stopped him, ending his consecutive-game hitting streak. Unfortunately, they couldn't do the same to the Mounties, who came away with the 10-7 victory at Ram Brewery Ballpark. "Hey, I knew it wasn't going to last forever," the 26-year-old first baseman said of the demise of his streak. "It was a good ride while it lasted."
