ABL News Flash: First-Year Player Draft Wednesday, June 11th , 2064 Lost in all the hoopla of today's amateur draft are the young men who won't be going first, tenth or even fiftieth. Many of them will probably never make ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE rosters, but one and all will be spurred on by the possibility that someday they'll be playing on a championship club. Maple, Eagle Rock, Milwaukee, Bighorn and Kansas City will have the first five choices. BNN analysts report that these players are likely to be high picks in the 2064 draft: 1. Mike Black, 18 year-old RHP out of high-school. 2. Lou Soper, 18 year-old CF out of high-school. 3. Ignacio Montoya, 21 year-old RF out of college. 4. Alex Featherstone, 22 year-old C out of college. 5. Matt Palmer, 18 year-old SS out of high-school. 6. Jeremy Steinhardt, 21 year-old CF out of college. 7. Dave Dimond Jr., 21 year-old SS out of college. 8. Chris Burton, 18 year-old RF out of high-school. 9. Rich Lewis, 18 year-old RHP out of high-school. 10. Randy Parsons, 18 year-old LHP out of high-school. |
