Fasnacht and Bagley Fight, Suspended 2 Games Thursday, June 5th , 2064 Today the league office handed out 2-game suspensions to Vinnie Fasnacht of the Tornadoes and Chris Bagley of the Pilots for their roles in a benches-clearing skirmish at Debris Field yesterday. The league commissioner said in the statement to both organizations, "This league does not condone fighting and aggressive conduct on the field, thus we had to take action to discourage this behavior in the future." So far this season, Fasnacht is batting .295 with 7 home runs. This year, Bagley has 10 relief appearances with 1 save, 2-1 season record and a 5.45 ERA. He has hurled 33 innings, given up 39 hits, struck out 29 and walked 9. Opposing clubs have batted .287 against the Jacksonville reliever. |
