Chicago Fired up Over 'Recchia Moments' Saturday, May 24th , 2064 Members of the Chicago Eclipse know their manager does his job with emotion, and it's a quality that is endearing to the team. The club has coined Demetrio Recchia's emotional outbursts as "Recchia Moments" and said they are well received. "It shows he's passionate about the game and wants to win," said Jared Simms. "When he blows up at something in the dugout, or in the clubhouse, I think it sharpens our focus as a team, and gets the guys fired up." Recchia laughed when told his emotional outbursts have been coined with a nickname. "This is just the way I manage and they way I go about my life. I'm not going to hide my emotions," he said. "If that fires the boys up, that's a bonus."" |
