Mexico City Loses Calderon for Year Monday, May 19th , 2064 A blow for Lupe Calderon today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 14 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Calderon suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Mexico City Luchadores are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Calderon's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. So far this year, Calderon has delivered no saves. In 7 relief appearances he has 10 strikeouts in 21.1 innings with a 4.22 ERA and no wins and 1 loss. |
