RCL's Best Player, Greene of West Island Monday, May 5th , 2064 When it came to hitting the baseball, Tony Greene had few peers in the Roberto Clemente League this past week. The talented third baseman for West Island tagged opposing pitchers for a .522 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 12 hits in 23 at-bats, 3 homers, 5 runs scored and 9 RBIs. Thus far this season, Greene has hit .373 with 7 home runs, 20 RBIs and scored 11 times. |
