Mike Lake Captures Rookie of Month Thursday, May 1st , 2064 The Rookie of the Month Award winner has been picked and the Thurman Munson League honor went to Bighorn hurler Mike Lake. For his outstanding performance in April he has been named the league's premier rookie. During the month, Lake was impressive with a 0.45 ERA and 1 win and no losses. In 20 innings he struck out 16 and gave up 7 hits and 4 walks. |
