Great Week for Maple's Earl Bitner Monday, April 28th , 2064 It was an extraordinary week for Earl Bitner of the Maple Marauders. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .545, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the Thurman Munson League. Last week Bitner went 12-for-22, racked up 4 home runs and 7 RBIs and scored 6 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Maple first baseman. Thus far this season in 18 games, Bitner is batting .324 with 4 home runs, 13 RBIs and 11 runs scored. He has 22 hits in 68 at-bats. |
