Sam Godfrey Hurt, Out for Year Friday, April 25th , 2064 The Seattle Sasquatch and their fans were rocked today by the news that star starting pitcher Sam Godfrey would miss the rest of the season due to injury. Godfrey was hurt in a recent game against the Buffalo Bison while throwing a pitch. He was immediately removed from the game and taken for examination. Tests today revealed the injury was a torn labrum. His doctors think that Godfrey will miss about 7 months. |
