Bloomington Snaps Gross Streak at 28 Saturday, April 19th , 2064 Aaron Gross of the Hawaii Honu came up empty at the plate and went hitless in 4 at-bats for the first time in 28 games. Making matters even worse for the right fielder, Hawaii dropped the game to the Bloomington Blazers, 5-3. "It was not a good day today," Gross told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over." Thus far this year, Gross has hit .259 with 2 home runs and 8 RBIs. |
