More Woes for Mounties Danny Coyle Tuesday, May 30th , 2062 Yesterday Montreal reliever Danny Coyle sustained a setback in his recovery from a sore elbow. The Mounties medical staff told him it would be at least 2 weeks before he will be able to return to action. Coyle told reporters, "The healing process has gone extremely well. This is just a little hiccup and a little setback." Apparently Coyle worked a little too hard in a recent workout and caused more damage. His doctors have advised him to do only light exercise and give the injury time to heal. Here are his stats for this season: Coyle has chalked up no saves and fashioned a record of 1 wins and 1 losses with a 3.10 ERA. He has made 15 relief appearances, thrown 29 innings and struck out 18. |
