TML Player of the Week Named Monday, May 15th , 2062 The hottest bat of the week belonged to Montreal first baseman Jared Jones. He went on a rampage last week against TML hurlers and rapped out 14 hits in 27 at-bats for a .519 average while hitting 6 home runs, driving in 18 runs and scoring 12 runs -- numbers quite worthy of the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week trophy. Jones was honored today at a press conference. To date, Jones has collected 61 hits for a .394 average. He has posted 16 home runs, scored 36 runs and driven in 51 runs. |
