Dixon Day-to-Day with Injury Friday, April 21st , 2062 Reports out of Vancouver indicate that Justin Dixon, the gifted second baseman, might be sidelined for 2 weeks or so with an elbow contusion. The 22-year-old star suffered the injury in yesterday's Mounties-Pioneers game while running the bases. "It's a game time decision," noted the team doctor, "It all depends on how Justin feels later today. If he can play, he will." Dixon is hitting .349 so far this season with 10 RBIs and 11 runs scored. He has 22 hits including 4 home runs, 7 walks and .408 OBP. |
