Leeney Has Nagging Injury, Listed DTD Saturday, April 8th , 2062 San Francisco team officials speculated whether star right fielder Junior Leeney would be scratched from today's ballgame after he suffered an elbow contusion in yesterday's matchup with the Jacksonville Pilots. Leeney denied reports that he would miss a lot of time, but added that he would not risk further injury by playing. Currently Leeney is batting .286 with no home runs and 7 RBIs. |
