Montreal Mounties Win ABL Championship Thursday, November 17th , 2061 It was a hard-fought battle for both teams to make it this far. But as the saying goes, "to the victors go the spoils." For the victorious Montreal Mounties, that meant the ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE ABL Championship trophy. The Mounties took a 1-0 victory over the Houghton Gremlins at Mount Royal Grounds, winning their 1st championship after taking the series 4-1. "We've got grit," said Mounties first baseman Chris Romanko, who was named MVP of the series. "We know how to win when we have to."
