It was a parade of hits for Brad Boivin of the Kearny High Cardinals at Guadalajara HS Grounds today.

Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Boivin finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Cardinals to a 16-9 victory.

"Boivin was really good and we were really bad," groaned Golden Bears manager Brian Neyman. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."

Brad Boivin singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off John Willis in the 7th, doubled in the 9th and singled in the 9th.
