The West Island Jazz earned a close win over the Buffalo Bison, thanks in part to Michael Slater. The West Island right-hander played a key role in the 2-1 victory. The victory gives West Island a record of 49-35.

Curtis Dellinger was the walk-off hero for West Island. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Jazz pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
