Simcox Delivers Clutch At-Bat for Riverside in Walk-Off Win
Billings West second baseman Pauli Roga had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Roga went 2 for 5 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3, even as Riverside beat the Golden Bears, 8-7. Roga was named the player of the game despite the loss. Riverside reliever Steef Moore picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Matt Andre absorbed the loss. The Poly' win now puts them at 21-20.

Tom Simcox had a productive at-bat for the Poly with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, the center fielder hit a walk-off run-scoring single. The at-bat was important in the Riverside win.

"This place was jumping at the end," Simcox said.
