Panthers Lose, 9-6, as All Blacks Rally
The Baie-Comeau All Blacks and Pleasantville Panthers squared off at Swamp Foxes Stadium.

Behind a fine performance from Tom Mansel, the Baie-Comeau All Blacks knocked off the Pleasantville Panthers, 9-6. Mansel was 2-3 with a home run and 3 walks for the All Blacks. The save went to Franck Lemoine, number 5 for him.

The All Blacks got a big hit from pinch hitter Mark McLeod. In the bottom of the eighth, McLeod smacked a 2-run double off Pleasantville pitcher Tyler Trawinski. It was his 5th double of the season. Suddenly, the All Blacks were ahead, 7-6.

In postgame comments, McLeod told the Baie-Comeau Observer: "Do people still doubt I give 100 percent?"

The All Blacks raised their record to 11-19.
