Bison Rally to Nose Past Eagle Rock
The Bighorn Bison defeated the Eagle Rock Ridge Runners, 6-5, at Ram Brewery Ballpark. Roy Santaniello was a standout performer for Bighorn. His 4 hits included 3 singles and 1 double -- this in addition to the 2 runs he scored and 1 he knocked in. Bighorn reliever Zach Phillips picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Brian Clendenny was saddled with the loss. With the win, Bighorn elevates its record to 3-5.

Cody Ley was the walk-off hero for Bighorn. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bison right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I don't feel you win baseball games by working harder than the other team or 'wanting it more,'" Santaniello told the Bighorn Citizen. "You win just by scoring more runs."
