Victory Over Voodoos Takes Pleasantville to 17-11
The Rutland Voodoos and Pleasantville Panthers brought some excitement to Ballpark of Morelia HS.

The Pleasantville Panthers downed the Rutland Voodoos, 8-2, at Ballpark of Morelia HS. The Panthers were led by Frank Weiss, who captured player of the game honors. He went 4 for 5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs. Nick Davies closed it out for his 1st save.

Tim Bufkin was a prime contributor to the Pleasantville win. He went 2-5 with a double, while adding 4 RBI. In the top of the third with two out, the 15-year old shortstop hit a 2-run single. It made the score 3-0, in favor of the Panthers.

"I felt we were ready to go," said Pleasantville manager Xavier Chávez. "Our pregame was pretty good."

The Panthers saw their record improve to 17-11.
