The Martinsburg Maulers picked up a win, 7-2, over the Kingston Beats at Maulers Park. Tobias Koeck led the charge. The Vienna, Wien native was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for Martinsburg. Jorge Melgoza earned the win for Martinsburg. He lasted 5.2 innings, allowing 1 run on 3 hits, while striking out 7. With the win, he raised his record to 13-9. The third-place Maulers lifted their record to 89-67.

With Martinsburg leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Koeck hit a fastball from Dan Devaney for a 2-run home run. It was his 19th home run of the season and put the Maulers ahead, 4-1.
