The Cabo San Lucas Toreros rode a solid performance from 25-year-old starting pitcher Justin Dietrich to a win, beating the Buffalo Bison, 7-2, at Field de Los Layendas. The last-place Toreros own a record of 27-53.

The Toreros got a big at-bat from second baseman Joe Schuster. For the game, Schuster was 1 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Cabo San Lucas a 2-1 lead.
